We know it has been extremely delayed, but here you will find the very first 'members Of us' release for aCb. You can expect to hear a variety of creepily cascading tunes and bouncy mind-expanding rhythms. Mosar's Greatest Hits v.22 starts off with shadowy ontological and abstract imagery (deconstruction of the monkey, aerosol), moving into danceable territory (the cereal song, inflatable douche), and ending with a disturbing and gritty analog jam (do not cross). By the end, the cd leaves one...

The Piknic Electronik in Montreal are an increasingly popular event held on Sunday afternoons, which features a variety of local djs playing under the sun, and are an ideal way to wind down the weekend. This year, the organisers decided they needed a theme song, and Eloi was recruited for the job. The task was special in that they needed not only a simple soundtrack, but rather something that represented the different styles of music featured at the events, which ranges from deep house to...

For this debut remix release the Uberkids, Rebekah and Noah Simon, secreted themselves in their studio and created a collection of specially-recorded loops and samples, which they then supplied over the internet to several members of the Skylab Operations family (such as I Am Robot And Proud , Headphone Science , Sweet Trip , .Tape , and of course, Phasmid ) with specific instructions that the remixers could do anything they wanted with the samples as long as they did not turn them into...

When looking up "laidback electronica" in the dictionary, Seestrings should be there as definition. 4 tracks of awesome laidback electronic music. From the first time I heard the music of Seestrings, I was enchanted by it. And these 4 tracks will ensure you will be enchanted by his music as well. Beautiful melodies, nice sometimes slightly erratic rhythms. You will love Seestrings for it.

a silent selection of ambient pieces brought to us by artists living all around europe and still having close virtual relations to bern city. giving a slight idea where this section will go in the future, every tracks slowly evolves into an imaginary wideness that can probably only be experienced travelling through the sea.

The third release in the Privatelektro Headphone Festival Live recording series. How low can you go? - Parachute are the nucleus of the privatelektro network. The two musicians - Christian Wruck and Marek Brandt - work on a quite ambient style of experimental electronics. The term ambient is here to be taken literally as creating an ambience for the listener that is not just meant to consume to affirmatively chill out but to actively experience whatever is to be experienced by listening to it....

These songs from mid 2003 to early 2004 were compiled for a recent live performance at Standard Deviation. The mix derived from an earlier demo cd with songs from 2003, but newer songs have been added and some updated. Limited wood box sets (30) were given away and sold. This release is 1 track shy of the box cd, which includes the song 'underlined (alt)'. Other than the APM side project, this is the first full netlabel release from Plosive, the founder of One. Being just under 37 minutes, its...

Ruben D'Hers: self-taught venezuelan musician who has developed a special taste for avant-garde music, exploring in a personal and different way the performance of his main instrument: the guitar. Blending it with colors of instruments like piano and violin, which have expanded his possibilities and resources at the time of composing. D'Hers' music could be framed in different genres (or influences), such as electroacustic and contemporary music with rock and free-jazz, but understanding that...

This follow-up third-party, but now Monotonik-embraced 'best of' collection, put together by an unknown person and spread on P2P networks, has more well-chosen MP3 and pre-MP3 releases from our electronic netlabel on it. Again a number of tracks only normally available in .MOD form as .MP3s, so we've made it an official release and added it to our catalog - watch out for the excellent Zyad remix of Vim!, and some cool early Prob and Hoffman tracks. Track listing (items with * have only...

This slow and irregular hip (or trip?) hop beat upon which the listener will automatically lapse into a rhythmic bounce is combined and documented with an either electrifying or electrocuting foreground, depending on your particular point of view. Rhythmic, groovy, slightly deranged, and it's somehow cool too.

From the liner notes: "All tracks were performed, compiled, and produced by Alex Pearson between February 9th and February 24th 2002. All instruments (Casio MT-540, Casio SK-1, Yamaha PSS-11, and Vocals) performed by Alex Pearson. All drum programming (Fruity Loops 3.0) by Alex Pearson. "This album is a compilation of theories about minimalism in music. All tracks contain a maximum of 2 instruments and were run through a series of effects processors (Alesis Quadraverb 2, Danelectro...

This flourishing shuffled step and melodic craftsman from Finland proves his commitment to taking his style to new heights and quality with Luo. An achievement inviting you to quietly listen and enjoy a comfortable and catchy groove with its adventurous instrumental adornment, thoughtful melodies, spiraling synths, playful/pragmatic percussion, and bouncing bass. bad loop's intent to create a solidly cohesive listen from begining to end has paid off. It's nearly been three years since his last...
